Where kids of all ages get to worship together! Join us for our all age service celebrating the gift of the Holy Spirit!
Join us as we meet with other Christians from churches in North Cardiff to worship together
There are a couple of opportunities each week to join with others for a time of prayer. Monday Evening at 7pm and / or Saturday morning at 10am both in the lounge. It would be great if you could join us.
Crafty Chatters
Do you enjoy craft? A few of us will be getting together to craft, have a chat and catch up over a cup of tea or coffee. We meet on the 1st Friday of every month from 7.30pm - 9pm. If you are interested in coming along or want to know more, have a chat with Sue Rock or Ruth Evans. The next meeting is on the 3rd May.
Crafty Chatters are making blankets or hats for premature babies at the moment, You can join them at their next get together on May 3rd or by making something at home over this coming month. If you can’t make anything but would like to help, you can donate some wool and one of the group will make it instead! Please let Ruth or Sue know if you would like more details or a pattern. Many thanks.
The Greatest Show
This is taking place this week and next. We will be welcoming local schoolchildren to see the performance. Please pray for all the children, teachers, helpers and parents who will attend.
A circus troop are travelling around from town to town performing their show, however every place they go to has been witness to something special just before they get there. Will the duo find a routine that will impress their audience? Who will perform “The Greatest Show?” Come along to our evening performance to find out. The public performance will be on Tuesday 7th May at 7pm . Everyone is welcome!
Cardiff 5K
On the evening of Sunday 5th May Bethel will be hosting elite athletes and providing the ‘bag drop’ for participants in the Cardiff 5k, which takes place around Whitchurch and Llandaff North. We offer to do this annually because it provides an opportunity to welcome people into Bethel, both from our immediate community and further afield, and to host them in a practical way. The race has sold out, there will be a fantastic atmosphere and lots of spectators out around the village.
The bag drop and elite athletes lounge runs from 5-9pm on the night and we're keen to hear from anyone who can help out on the night for all/some of the evening (we expect our busiest time to be 6-8pm). Most of our 'stalwart' volunteers who have helped in previous years are unavailable this time.
We’ve got energetic and more sedate roles – offering drinks & fruit, welcoming & chatting to folk, directing people, a bit of ‘door management’ in the elite’s lounge (Whitchurch Centre) and collecting, sorting and returning bags. Accompanied children very welcome. If you’re able to help it would be VERY MUCH appreciated. Please get in touch with Karen Chadwell (07951 383485). It can’t happen without you! Many thanks.

Bins
As you may be aware, in the church porch , lounge and hall we now have three separate bins (one for general waste and the other two for specific recycling items) When you dispose of rubbish, if you could place it in the appropriate bin we would really appreciate it. We now have the same category of outside bins so it will be easier to transfer rubbish from the inside to outside bins if the correct items are put in the appropriate bin. Many thanks for your co-operation with this
