Bethel Baptist Church is located in the centre of Whitchurch Village in the north of Cardiff and easy to get to, however you need to travel.
Active Travel
We are a mile from the popular “Taff Trail” active travel route. All the connecting roads now have 20mph speed limits and Cardiff Council plan further improvements for pedestrians and cyclists.
There is plenty of bicycle parking nearby including some on the church premises.
Public Transport
Bus
We are on the 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 132, 136 and G1 bus routes from Cardiff, the Valleys and the local area. The bus stops are a few yards away on Merthyr Road.
Train
Llandaff railway station is half a mile away on the Taff Vale line from Cardiff and is served by a fast and frequent service to Pontypridd and beyond.
Note: Both bus and rail services can be less frequent or disrupted on Sundays so we would advise you to check your journey on https://www.traveline.cymru/ and https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Car
We encourage you to use Active Travel or Public Transport, but if you do need to drive, we are just over a mile away from the M4 (junction 32).
The nearest car park is just a few yards away on Penlline Road (next to our Church Hall). The car park is pay-and-display at certain times. We advise you to check the car park signs to make sure you follow the correct procedure.
The car parks can become busy at times (eg. Remembrance Sunday) and on-street parking is limited.
Air
In the unlikely event that you are flying to Cardiff Airport and want to come straight here, most trains from Rhoose (Cardiff Airport) railway station run directly to Llandaf railway station, but it is possible you may have to change at Cardiff Central. There is a shuttle bus between the airport and the railway station.
