Andy Gibbs launches our new Sunday teaching series on Jesus' teaching about the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room (John 14.15-17)
There are a couple of opportunities each week to join with others for a time of prayer. Monday Evening at 7pm and / or Saturday morning at 10am both in the lounge. It would be great if you could join us.
Crafty Chatters
Do you enjoy craft? A few of us will be getting together to craft, have a chat and catch up over a cup of tea or coffee. We meet on the 1st Friday of every month from 7.30pm - 9pm. If you are interested in coming along or want to know more, have a chat with Sue Rock or Ruth Evans.
Coffee Mornings and Service
The coffee mornings take place on the
2nd Tuesday of each month. We also have a monthly daytime service with traditional hymns and a short reflection at
11 am on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The next daytime service is on the 23rd April
Members Meeting
The date of the next Church Members Meeting will be Wednesday April 24th at 7.30 pm. Please mark this meeting date in your calendar, and we sincerely hope you can join us. Your input is valuable to us, and together, we can contribute to the flourishing of God's purpose within our church community.
Church Lunch Dates
It's great to be able to enjoy fellowship together (and food!) and we have one more church lunch this year
September 29th
Please put this date in your diary and we look forward to seeing you there. Everyone is welcome!
Book Club
The book club is taking a short break for the time being and is likely to resume in May. Watch this space!
Bins
As you may be aware, in the church porch , lounge and hall we now have three separate bins (one for general waste and the other two for specific recycling items) When you dispose of rubbish, if you could place it in the appropriate bin we would really appreciate it. We now have the same category of outside bins so it will be easier to transfer rubbish from the inside to outside bins if the correct items are put in the appropriate bin. Many thanks for your co-operation with this
The Greatest Show
This has now been rescheduled for schools for the last week of April and first week of May.
A circus troop are travelling around from town to town performing their show, however every place they go to has been witness to something special just before they get there. Will the duo find a routine that will impress their audience? Who will perform “The Greatest Show?” Come along to our evening performance to find out.The public performance will be on Tuesday 7th May at 7pm . Everyone is welcome!
