Easter Plans 2023
Jesus says:
Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.
I’ll show you how to take a real rest.
Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace.
MATTHEW 11.28-20 (The Message)
As we seemingly speed through this year at an impossible velocity, my prayer for us this Easter is that we might take Jesus up on His invitation; to walk and work with Him at the gentle, but powerful, pace of grace.
Watching Him journey to the City of Jerusalem, from there to the Garden of Gethsemane, to the Hill of Calvary, to the Tomb of Joseph, to the Upper Room, the Road to Emmaus... and beyond.
From suffering to glory, from humiliation to vindication, from death to life. And as we journey with Jesus, His sacrifice holds the power for us to take the same road and discover the power and peace of His passion!
Sundays I The Borrower
We've been journeying with Daniel over the past couple of months, but our time with him (for now at least) has come to and end so that we can begin to explore the theme of The Borrower.
We often see Jesus "borrowing" certain things from certain people around Him; from a donkey to an upper room - and even the Garden tomb is only temporarily occupied!
What do we have in this life, that isn't borrowed from Him?
What might Jesus be asking back from us this Easter?
Complin I The Crushing Place
“My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” (MARK 14.34)
Each Easter, we take a journey together through Holy Week called Complin.
Complin is reflective, creative and interactive worship journey that dives into a different theme to help us experience the power of Easter in a fresh way...
This year's theme is: The Crushing Place. What it it that gets crushed at Easter?
