YouTube Live!
On Sundays we will be having an in-person service at church and also live streaming messages via YouTube live at 10:30am. You will be able to view these without a YouTube account, and they will also be available on Smart TVs/Fire stick etc. for those without tablets/laptops. The livestream links are available on the website. If anyone is struggling to access the livestreams, please let us know.

There is no evening service this Sunday
Prayer Times
There are a couple of opportunities each week to join with others for a time of prayer. Monday Evening at 7pm and / or Saturday morning at 10am both in the lounge.
Crafty Chatters
Do you enjoy craft? A few of us will be getting together to craft, have a chat and catch up over a cup of tea or coffee. We will be meeting on the first Friday of every month between 7.30pm - 9pm. If you are interested in coming along or want to know more, have a chat with Sue Rock or Ruth Evans.
Easter Events
Please see the info below re the Complin services we will be having in the run up to Easter this year. Complin services are reflective and contemplative, where there is space to meet with God
Good Friday Walk of Witness
This will be taking place from 9.30 am on Friday 15th April, starting at Whitchurch Methodist and moving onto different churches in Whitchurch.
Easter Breakfast

Dates for your Diary
Jubilee Lunch On Sunday 5th June, we are planning to hold a "Jubilee Lunch" to mark the occasion of the Queen's Jubilee. We are hoping to have this in the lane. If you would like to book please follow the Eventbrite link

Picnics In The Park These will be starting again on the 29th June and will be running on alternate weeks until 28th August. Come along with your lunch to have fun and fellowship and perhaps even a game or two of rounders!!
Children and Youth Updates
(All taking place apart from on weeks when there is an All-Together service)
Bethel Tots – Creche – for Babies to Reception age
Crèche is available in the Church Lounge during the morning service, Parents are advised to stay with their children. A live stream of the service is available.
Bethel Kids – Sunday – School years 1 – 4
Taking place during the morning service over in the Whitchurch Centre, with songs, games, and activities focused on learning about God. This term the team are looking at Parables- life lessons from Jesus.
Bethel Teens – Sunday – School Years 5 – 9
Taking place during the morning service over in the Whitchurch Centre, an opportunity to explore faith, chatting together, looking at the Bible and what it teaches us today and what that means for us in school and at home. This term we will be looking a little deeper at some of the Psalms, songs, poetry, laments, and encouragement from the Bible that we cover on a Tuesday.
Bethel Youth – Sunday – School Years 10 – 13
We will be watching the evening service together and using the questions or Scripture to discuss application or findings from what we have heard, followed by some social time to decompress, and chat about life together.
This group will be flexible depending on the caution needed with corona case numbers. Whilst we aim to meet for in-person gatherings as much as possible, where this is not safe or possible due to isolation, we can also meet using Zoom.

Family News
We rejoice with Pat Peakman who celebrates her 98th birthday on April 14th. She would definitely appreciate everyone's best wishes and birthday greetings.
Please pray for Gill Watkins as she was taken back into hospital recently, but is now recovering at home.
Tearfund Event
Chris Plummer and Juraj Uhrincat are planning a Tearfund event (indoors / outdoors) in the spring. There will be prayer, a quiz, games and food (with covid restrictions in place)

Collecting used Stamps to help fund BMS work
Please continue to save used postage stamps for the BMS stamps bureau. During the first quarter of 2020 £3500 was raised for BMS by the bureau. We look forward to being able to collect the stamps you are saving as soon as possible. Marion Rushton.
